Case Study: Untold Festival with Dubai’s leading lifestyle publication

By Platinum Live 3 min read

“Platinum Live are trusted experts in their field. I’d work with them again without hesitation.”

In late 2025, Platinum Live partnered with DSCVR, one of Dubai’s leading lifestyle and culture media platforms, on an international media project at Untold Dubai.

Untold Dubai is one of the region’s largest music and culture festivals, welcoming around 190,000 people over four days and bringing together a global line-up of artists, performers and creators, including J-Balvin, Martin Garrix, Yungblud, Swae Lee and Armin van Buuren and others.

DSCVR is an official media partner of the festival, delivering live coverage across digital, social and editorial platforms.

We travelled to Dubai to work on the ground with DSCVR’s video team, supporting the creative delivery of their festival coverage from within the event.

Operating in a fast-paced live environment, our Managing Director, Oliver, coordinated and produced a series of artist interviews and content pieces featuring major international names, including Steve Aoki and Nora Fatehi, as well as other headline performers.

A key part of the role was managing and coordinating high-profile talent within a complex festival schedule.

This meant working to strict brand guidelines, fixed artist windows and tight production timelines, while liaising directly with artist teams, management and festival representatives.

Platinum Live worked closely with the Untold Dubai production team and DSCVR’s on-site crew to adapt quickly to last-minute changes, ensure interviews ran smoothly and help content move from capture to publish at speed. The priority was getting high-quality content live during the event itself while audiences were watching, engaging and sharing in real time.

Across the weekend, Platinum Live supported the delivery of artist interviews and short-form video content, behind-the-scenes and festival atmosphere coverage, social-first clips designed for immediate release, and editorial-aligned content tailored specifically to DSCVR’s audience and platforms.

The content produced during Untold Dubai was published across DSCVR’s website and social channels, delivering strong organic engagement.

Several videos reached hundreds of thousands of views, helping cement DSCVR’s presence at one of the Middle East’s biggest cultural events and extending the festival’s reach well beyond the site itself.

For example, one of the standout interviews features Canadian artist Nora Fatehi, which reached over 260k views and 15,000 likes, then was picked up and syndicated across her global fan accounts, with credit attributed to DSCVR.

With our Head Office in Cumbria, UK, this project is a strong example of our ability to work internationally, manage high-profile talent and deliver content in live, high-pressure environments.

Dane Swindells, DSCVR’s Founder, said: “Oliver and Platinum Live were a real asset on the ground at Untold Dubai. They’re experienced, confident, and know how to operate in fast-moving, high-pressure environments with global talent.

“Platinum Live quickly understood our brand and audience, managed artist coordination smoothly and helped us deliver high-quality content at pace throughout the festival. The work performed strongly across our platforms and played an important role in our coverage of the event.

“Platinum Live are trusted experts in their field, and I’d work with them again without hesitation.”

The Untold Dubai project was built on recent work delivered for DSCVR in the UAE, producing interviews with artists including Take That, Stereophonics, and Jack Whitehall promoting their headline shows in Dubai.

This demonstrates how we support media houses, partners, and brands in telling stories that feel current, credible, and genuinely connected to audiences, wherever in the world they occur.

We look forward to working with DSCVR all the more in the future.
